Lo Shaykh Abd al-Wahid Felice Pallavicini è stato un illuminato maestro spirituale musulmano italiano, la cui funzione tradizionale è riconosciuta in Oriente e in Occidente. Dopo essersi convertito all’Islam nel 1951, ha dedicato la sua vita al dialogo interreligioso e alla testimonianza della dottrina metafisica nell’esoterismo islamico.
È stato fondatore e presidente della Comunità Religiosa Islamica Italiana (COREIS), della moschea centrale al-Wahid di Milano, dell’Istituto di alti studi islamici (IHEI) in Francia e della ISA Academy (Accademia di Studi Interreligiosi). È stato tra i promotori della costituzione della grande moschea di Roma e membro del consiglio dei saggi della moschea di Parigi.
I suoi insegnamenti si concentrano sull’Unicità di Dio e sulla prospettiva universale delle dottrine religiose ortodosse nel Monoteismo Abramitico e nelle tradizioni orientali. Ha testimoniato la ricerca di una vera pace, interiore ed esteriore, nella consapevolezza della crisi del mondo moderno che ha allontanato l’umanità dalla sacralità della vita, dall’aspirazione alla purezza intellettuale e dall’urgenza escatologica.
Lo Shaykh Abd al-Wahid Pallavicini non è stato associato ad alcun partito politico né a organizzazioni tradizionaliste né ha affiliazioni all’omonima famiglia nobiliare.
Shaykh Abd al-Wahid Felice Pallavicini was an enlightened Italian Muslim spiritual teacher, whose traditional role is recognized in both the East and the West. After converting to Islam in 1951, he dedicated his life to interfaith dialogue and to expounding the metaphysical doctrine of Islamic esotericism.
He was the founder and president of the Italian Islamic Religious Community (COREIS), the Institute of Higher Islamic Studies (IHEI) in France, and the ISA Academy (Academy of Interreligious Studies). He was among the promoters of the construction of the Grand Mosque of Rome and a member of the Council of Elders of the Paris Mosque.
His teachings focus on the Oneness of God and on the universal perspective of orthodox religious doctrines within Abrahamic monotheism and Eastern traditions. He bore witness to the search for true peace—both inner and outer—in the awareness of the crisis of the modern world, which has distanced humanity from the sacredness of life, from the aspiration toward intellectual purity, and from eschatological urgency.
His zawiya is linked to the order Tariqah Ahmadiyyah Idrisiyyah Shadhuliyyah and it is based in Milan al-Wahid Central Mosque.
Shaykh Abd al-Wahid Pallavicini has not been associated with any political party or traditionalist organizations, nor does he have any affiliation with the noble family of the same name.
